The Czech association of chief information officers has announced for the thirteen time the most successful IT project in the field.

The ceremony took place in a very festive atmosphere during a social event „CACIO in gala“, which was held on Thursday, March 17th 2016, in the beautiful Smetana Hall at the Czech Automotive Club. The patronage over the event took Ing. Jan Bartošek, Vice President of the Chamber of Deputies, Parliament of the Czech Republic.

The competition entered 21 IT projects, from which the jury of experts picked the top 8 and after a round of presentation the 3 winners.

The project “Deployment of the SAP Cloud for Customer” earned a well-deserved recognition as one of the eight finalists.

Petra Terbrova, Project Manager at con4PAS says: “I appreciate very much that our project belongs among the leading IT projects in the Czech Republic. Deployment of the cloud solution was for our team a great challenge. It was the first implementation of this solution in Central and East Europe and should encourage and support the transformation of the business processes in SIKO, the leader in its respective field.

The project already received the SAP Quality Award 2015 in the Innovation category for Central and East Europe and I appreciate further success even more. These awards once again confirms the high quality of both the project implementation as well as its benefits for the customer.”

SIKO BATHROOMS was founded in 1991 as a 100% Czech private company, engaged in wholesale and retail sales of a comprehensive range of bathroom fixtures and fittings. It all started with a modest store, opened in Čimelice, South Bohemia by the current CEO, Jaroslava Valova. The staff working in the store used to take their customers to the two hundred meter square warehouse, which stood at the opposite end of the village and was used for dispensing the goods.
