SAP Ariba – News in Q1/2023

At the beginning of this year SAP introduced 2 major news from the world of Ariba – a regular quarterly release full of innovations and a new website at sap.com

From February 7th, 2023, all web pages from ariba.com were automatically redirected to sap.com. It is recommended to save the new web pages in your favorites as a replacement for the old ones. Only the URL to the supplier account supplier.ariba.com will remain unchanged. This will still be the most direct way how suppliers can access their accounts on the network.

SAP Ariba 2302

The February release 2302 (Q1 2023) of SAP Ariba cloud solutions introduces many interesting functionalities. The release is available from 17th March 2023. Here are the most interesting ones:

SAP Business Network / SAP Ariba Network

Suppliers can now configure information regarding held ISO certifications under the company profile. This feature enables customers to apply the ISO Certificates filter in trading partner search results.

SAP Ariba Sourcing

New feature enables buyers to configure the Guided sourcing template to anonymize the supplier information in all pages, popups, dialog boxes, and reports for published RFPs, RFIs, and auctions until the events are closed for bidding.

SAP Ariba Buying

Newly redesigned filtering options for a request. Previously, there were limited sorting and filtering options, if users had a large number of requests, finding a specific one could have been difficult.

SAP Ariba Supplier Lifecycle and Performance

New feature enables internal recipients to complete registrations on behalf of suppliers by updating those answers in their assigned questionnaires without granting them access to sensitive data in all questionnaires.
